Pro 5 Image Effects - How?

Hi,

Just installed Pro 5, signed up with Aviary and entered my Key.

Nothing seems to have changed. How do I or anyone edit a picture with the:

"+New image effects system.  Effects including the following: Blemish, Brightness, Contrast, Crop, Draw, Effects, Enhance, Orientation, Redeye, Resize, Saturation, Sharpness, Stickers, Text, Warmth, White " ?

No options that I can see to enable this feature or buttons in the gallery.

So how does this work?

On the edit picture page there is now an option to add effects to an image.

Hmmm, I can now edit the picture and do all the effects but when saved they do not appear on the picture.

Say I add a frame, click APPLY, SAVE I get the circle then the box with;


Your work was saved!
RESUME - CLOSE
GET THIS EDITOR

I click CLOSE and then EDIT PICTURE but the frame is not shown.

Any ideas?

Just a thought. When I signed up with Aviary and created a key, I used Web Application and gave it my own name, should I have used SMF Gallery as the app name?

When I updated from 4.0.10, I just over installed 5.

Gallery folder has 755 permissions.

Other Admins and a test user have the same issues.

Will check it out in a bit busy today look at your error log for clues.

Do you have mod_security installed?

Mod security is enabled but my host has excluded the forums as it was causing other problems, now resolved since they did that.

I have two errors in the log that seem to be related to this.

All reports MUST include:
* src IP
* dest IP (your IP)
* dest port
* Accurate date/timestamp and timezone of activity
* Intensity/frequency (short log extracts)
* Your contact details (phone and email)
Without these we will be unable to identify the correct owner of the IP address at that point in time.

Just checked the error log on the test site and no errors appear even though the edit failed again.

Change the file perimssions for galleryaviary.php and gallerytwitter.php
To 755

Yup, fixed it after I cleared the cache!

Hi,

I have the latest version installed, have an Aviary public key, the aviary editor pops up but the image is not loaded.
Do you have an idea what could be wrong?

How big is the image there are some size restrictions.
