How to Upgrade to 5.0 Pro?

I'm a bit confused on how to update Gallery Pro 5.0 from an existing installation...

Help please?

To upgrade to the latest version just download the latest version of SMF Gallery Pro and install it. This will upgrade your gallery to the latest version.

Doing so, 5.0 appears as a previous version with 4.0.10 as the current one in the MOd list.

There is an upgrade link next to 5.0, so just click that?

Yes just click the upgrade link next to 5.0.
You could also uninstall 4.0 and install 5.0 as another option
Both ways work.

But wouldn't uninstalling the previous version delete everything or am I not understanding how uninstall works?

No when uninstalling the gallery we do not delete any data or pictures all that data is kept inside SMF.

Okay, I did the install of 5.0 without removing 4.0 and now there is an upgrade link beside 4.0. The best thing at this point is to uninstall 4.0 then or leave it be?

Just leave it there and you are set.
