Open pics in a new window / domain change
« on: March 28, 2013, 07:56:30 pm »
Hello,

  • I'm using SMF 2.0.4 and SimplePortal 2.3.5.
With SMF Gallery Lite I've the problem that a big picture blows the frameset (see attached screenshot).
Is there a configurable way to prevent that?
For example a click on a thumbnail opens a new window?
  • Maybe the domain name will change in the near future. How much is it to change the domain name?
  • I use a test and integration environment with the top level domain "local". Is it possible and legal to use SMF Gallery Pro on this no public System?

Thanks!
Jens

1. In SMF Gallery Pro we have a couple different options:
First we have the option to generate a medium sized image. Which allows thumbnail - medium sized, and fullsize image.
The medium sized image is on view picture page and click to expand/fullsize

Also on the view picture page we have the option to use either highslide or a lightbox to show the fullsize picture when you click on the display image on the view picture page.

2. No fee to change the domain just send me a pm.

3. Yes a test/development forum license is allowed as well in addition to your normal production forum site.

Hello!

I'm not sure if my question was answered.
If a user expands to fullsize - what will happen?
Open it in a new window or will it looks like my screenshot?
