SA Facebook Integration update/install issue

I updated a forum today, and tried to update my SA Facebook mod aswell, but it fails.

Here's what I did:
1. Uninstalled the old version
2. Deleted the old version
3. Uploaded the new version

Simple, right? It uploads OK, but I can't install. It fails because the packagemanager needs write access to some files. For some reason, SMF is unable to log in using my FTP credentials. But I can log on via a FTP client, so that shouldn't be a big deal. It's just that when I click the link to see which files it needs access to, it just says:

• /

I've checked, and the http root and the forum root both list as 755.

So I thought just f**k it, I'll do it manually instead. I've followed the instructions on the SMF mod-site to the letter, but the plugin remains uninstalled and inactive. I'm not sure what to do next.

Two options one for the writable part you can either make all folders/files writable


For the manual install make sure you run the install script that will install the database tables and hooks.
