Fatal Error
« on: July 05, 2013, 01:55:42 pm »
I installed the Badge Awards, but it doesn't show in the Package list, first of all. Second of all, in a topic, I get this error on the users column:
Code: [Select]
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/smartz/public_html/minersr.us/Sources/badgeawards2.php' (include_path='.:/opt/php53/lib/php') in /home/smartz/public_html/minersr.us/Sources/Load.php(2172) : eval()'d code on line 435
I checked Load.php and see no mention of 'badge' or 'awards'.

Also, no Admin menu item.

Might be in another file you might need to disable template evel in SMF.

Do you have badge awards installed right now ? If so is it the SMF 2.0 version. If it is then upload the badgeawards2.php from the mod zip file and upload it to your forum's sources folder.

I think so, but not 100% sure it's installed as it doesn't show in the Package list.

Copied that file over, and that error goes away, it says total badges: 8, but no menu item shows up.

Hmm it sounds like it didn't install completely might require a manual install. If you you know how to do that you can find the manual install instructions at
http://www.smfhacks.com/smf-package-parser.html

You just need to upload the package to that page and it will give the edits needed to the files.

I seem to have semi-fixed it. I see double notices though, like so:
Quote
Total Badges: 10
Total Badges: 10
Instead of:
Quote
Total Badges: 10

I see it in a thread under a custom field "Minecraft Version"
Here is the website I use it under now, could you remove the URL from kcmartz.com (or whatever it is currently) and move the license to this url: http://minersr.us.

Here is an example thread: http://minersr.us/server-suggestions/2/please-follow-information-suggestions/13/msg14#new

Ok that means there is duplicate code in the themes/default/display.template.php file.

Check out that file and look for duplicate badge code
