User Uploading?
« on: July 25, 2013, 06:49:30 am »
I KNOW! we are working with a Download program with Download Pro ;)

And at my site I have around 2,000 + files up for the members to DL BUT! the members are the ones that make the files to put in the Download Areas I have setup for the community to download.

My site is a Computer Golf Site where the members have the Game and it has a Golf Course Designer with it where they can design a full golf course and then we put it up for the rest of the members to download and play their new design on their system.
And they can and do run a few tours through my site and play up to 4 members at a time just like REAL Golf is done.

For the past 6 years I have had a small ftp program they download from the site and setup on their system and attempt to upload their new designs with it.
It is getting outdated as it is a old about 10-12 years old file to do this.

What I am wondering is how, if it can be done, to setup an area through the DLPro that they can log to through the program that can be set for them to use for uploading their New Course File to me where I can then set it up in the catagory and area for the community to have access to for downloading.

I am working with SMF 2.0.4 and the latest Download Pro.
Hopeing that this is just something that I have not found how to set up yet!     ::)

Snuffy . . .    :)

Not sure exactly what you are looking for.

Currently you are having users upload files via ftp?

What about creating a category for users to upload files then just allow them to upload files directly to that category?
