Sorry to push this problem again.

I know you did not find the problem, so I have a quick solve for it. Is it possible to raise the picture numbers for the search result ?

At the moment I have in the config 40 pictures per site and 4 in the row.

So the solve is, too not limited the search result per site just show all results that would help me realy.

Thank you

The problem is still there with 7.0.3

I got a new NAS with PHP+MariaDB ....so I restored SMF + Gallery on this one. The SMF board shows the right german chars but all the chars from the database are wrong. (with phpMyAdmin it looks correct). I did a database table convert from ISO-8859-1 (latin1) to UTF8

index.php?action=admin;area=maintain;sa=database;activity=convertentities

the result is now, that the chars from the database are right displayed but the SMF Board is now wrong  :P  ;D

It seems that  I never touched the language files/mods and most did not have utf8 support.

But one thing is now working - searching with german umlauts.

Anyway I think you can close this problem, Latin1 is death and should no longer be used. I must now start to convert all sources and mods to utf support.

Regards
