change membergroup

hello,

some items in the store can change user membergroup. the only way that this change expires is to write number of days in the field "Group Expires in days: ..."

I wonder if it's possible to add an option, that I could set a date that group expires? e.g. last day of year, or a day of 18th birthday?

Would be a feature request but that would be tricky to do depending on what options you are suggesting.
A specific date would be easier but options such last day of year, birthday are harder to compute.

now we can only set for how many days user membergroup is changed. I would also like to set a day (specific date) when this change expires, eg. 31 dec of a year.

thats because my forum is for members of some organisation, and they have to pay membership fee, which is valid until the end of a year. I would make it possible to pay membership fee via SMF Store, so I need to set a specific date when user membergroup expires (that date is of course 31 dec each year).
