Add Childbutton Gone..?
« on: February 05, 2014, 06:16:14 am »
My ability to add children to a menu has gone :(

It is across all layouts, regardless (including the SMF default.) I'm not sure where to start searching for a fix.

A screenshot is attached. As you can see, I am still able to add children, but it's a pain in the butt.

Help would be fantastic.

Other information is necessary to assist you properly. It's also intriguing to me that the order is "29". From the looks of it, it should be "1".

So, any errors in the SMF error log? Any errors in your browsers console? If no to both, send me a PM with a link to the forum and an administrative login account details.

Why should it be 1? It's the 29th button I made, therefore it should be 29? I just clicked on a random menu item to show you what was happening.

Error log says:

I'll get to this later today, thanks for posting the error log. And it should be "1" because it's the first child button of the parent button. Even though it's the 29th button, the first column is button ORDER, which shouldn't go by the button id.

Oh, okay; but they don't match the button ID either... I redid the menu, and my child button to menu button #1 is #9, but order number is 5. xD

Interesting...do you have PHP error reporting on by chance? What version of PHP are you running?

I don't know, and I don't know how to find out the answer to either question, sorry :(

If it helps, I'm with Aspiration Hosting?

I'm going to try to push out a patch (MEP v1.0.1) today with bugfixes.
