Bulk Uploader and Add Video not working

I'm confused, but bear with me please?

We purchased the video plugin for Gallery Pro and added it and that seemed to go alright.

The Admin can see the Add Video option but Regular Members cannot. I've checked permissions and the Add Video option is ticked.

Also, at the same time, we lost the Bulk Upload feature for all users...

Check category level permissions if you have them setup and do the add video permission.

The Category permissions list is blank, we are not using it in our case.

Going to Admin -> Members -> Permissions ->

And then checking every single User group there is, every one has the Add Video check box ticked.


I can see the Add Video tab in Admin, but going to a Regular User it isn't there.

You changed the permission under Admin -> Permissions -> modify membergroup?

Also any time you install an SMF Gallery Pro update you also need to reinstall the video addon.

Yes.  I did figure out something else though.  I "thought" that the regular users could not add videos until I found their "Add Video" link down at the bottom menu in any gallery category.

When signed in as Admin, I get an "Add Video" button at the top menu (see attached image.)  That button allows to add video to any gallery right off the bat.  But I did find the add video link when logged as a normal user is available at the bottom when inside of a particular gallery.

Is that by design?   Is there a way to give the "Add Video" button in the top menu like the Admin has?

Fixed the issue with link not working follow the instructions below for the update.

!Fixed top add video link had wrong permission name. For the SMF Video addon for SMF Gallery. To update uninstall the Video Addon install the new version of SMF Gallery then install the Video Addon again.
