Create user gallery
« on: February 02, 2014, 07:14:51 am »
Import from Aeva Media worked fine on some albums but others had problems. I wish to import the pictures manually but can find no way of creating a gallery for another member for me to import to.

How can I do this?

Find the user in the member gallery list click on their name to get taken to their personal gallery. You can then create a category for that user.

Thanks. That list appears to be every forum member. I have restricted gallery creation to a sub-set of members. Is there any way to filter that list or search it?

Edit: added your profile add-on, which made searching users a lot easier.

I did as you described, using the profile add-on to find a person, created a gallery for them and successfully imported images using batch add.

You can see their gallery from their profile but not in the list of user galleries. Did I do something wrong?

Edit: I did do something wrong. I assumed that creating a gallery under a user's profile and importing to that category would add them to the list. What I omitted to do was add a user to list them under in the final box! Doh!
