installed packages, no admin links
« on: May 27, 2007, 12:41:24 am »
So far, I have installed a few SMFHacks packages and a space in my Config menu shows up, but no links.  I can't edit the options for the packages after the initial install.  Packages that this has happened with so far are SMF Gallery Lite, RSS Feed Poster, SMF Links.  I'm totally new to SMF, so I'm kind of lost.

Thanks.

Copy the text strings from modifications.english.php to modifications.yourlanguage.php

I found Modifications.english.php, but that is my language.  I'm still lost. :(  lol

is this covered in any documentation?  or is this not a common problem?

I guess English wasn't my language, English-utf8 was, changed my language to English and it solved the problem.

Yeah UTF  only should be used if you are using a language other than english.
