I like the new look. It's a lot more professional. How long did it take you to transition from the old one, i.e. upgrading time, altering the theme, changing to exPortal? How are you like 2.x?

The side blocks should be spaced out a little better (http://www.smfhacks.com/index.php/topic,8434)

I did my update in about 3 hours today. Still have a couple things left to do. I decided to go ahead after I decided I didn't like how the site looked in Google Chrome

I did the update in parts. 1st part was last weekend spent a couple hours importing all my old modifications listed on the site to Downloads Pro system writing custom conversion code for that.

Then 2nd part today updated to SMF 2.0.
I made most of the mods on my site so the transition was easy in that regard. I didn't need to worry about a mod not being supported.
And I am very efficient at doing find and replace, updating code to SMF 2.0
And was easy going from TinyPortal to ezPortal since I was just using TP for the sidebar blocks

Sideblocks do you mean like the portal blocks?

Honestly for your site you would have to look into the tradeoff's you have  a lot of custom code/changes that would need to be made/updated again. And can take for a lot of time. You will need to see if SMF 2.0 has something that you need that you can't do in SMF 1.1.x
I still have a lot of SMF 1.1.x forums myself so I update when I feel it is needed.

Congrats on the new look, it really looks great!

I also think it was time to upgrade to SMF2 and start using ezPortal. Makes the site look more professional and gives a more sense of confidence that the mods in it are working on the latest version of SMF.

I am also not sure on the main font not sure if it is readable enough. I might change to the font that quickreply is using.

I like the new look. As already said above it gives everyone the confidence that the current SMFHacks portfolio will work with SMF 2 and beyond. I haven't been a forum admin for long but I have carefully selected what mods I have added to my forum. My research showed me that SMFHacks was always the better choice. I believe that even more now.

Thanks I appreciate it. I try my best given the amount of time i have which isn't easy considering how many projects/sites/businesses I am doing at any given time.
