What is the link shared on facebook? Copy that link to a browser as a guest and see if you can view it.

Tried it. You're right. Got an error message.

So for some reason, the permissions I assigned for guests to be able to view the gallery aren't working

Just an FYI, I just unchecked the permissions box, saved the changes and then went back and check the box again, giving guests permission to view the gallery and saved it, and then tried to view it as a guest, but still got the error.

Under Admin -> Gallery Configuration -> Settings ->
uncheck "Only registered members can view full picture details"

Did that, and it fixed part of the problem. Guests can now see the gallery pics.

But when I click the Facebook share button that's built into the gallery, it still generates the error.

Using the Addthis share button, however, doesn't generate an error.

I also tried clearing my cache and restarting my computer, but I still get the error message.

OK. Doing some more digging. It seems to be working now, but I can't really tell you what I changed that made it work.

I'll keep playing around and see how everything else goes.

Oh, by the way, I noticed a setting that allows the BB code for medium images to be displayed, so I turned that on. It now displays code for medium sized pics, which is great. I did notice, too, that if I turned off the setting to show the standard BB code, it didn't allow the medium code to be shown.

Maybe that's something that can be changed in a future update, to give the option to display the medium photo code without having to display the BB code for the full sized image?
