Error 500 - Internal Server Error

Hi, I have changed the newstracking2.php permission to include Execute.

I still get the same error.

I have no errors in me error log.

What else can I do?

Ok. Here is new information

First, I started with sending a test newsletter from SMF, now from the Newsletter pro, link.

When I have a direct link it works. http://citizensandsocieties.net/NA-USA/index.php?action=forum

The page opens but the stats does not compile. I have open the message, click on both links  and even forward the message. No statistics where recorded.

When I have an embedded link, Test it does not work.  It creates an error 500 message.

I hope this gives you some info on how to solve the problem.

newstracking2.php is a permission trying changing to 644 or 755 and that should help

I have 7 - 7- 7, see attachment,  and I don't seem to be able to change this. :-(

How do I change this. I have a VPS, so I imagine I should be able to change that.

Some webservers don't like 777 try other settings.

Or have your webhoting company look into that error for the script/permissions

OK, I have found out how to change the numbers..

I will try both and see how it works.
