Hello. I am currently setting up a hip-hop forum. As a feature I'd like to allow members to upload their music and charge for it if they wish to do so. Downloads System Pro seems to offer a lot of the functionality I need however as far as I can tell it's not possible to play audio files within it. Is this something you could add and would consider?

Not currently built. It just downloads the file self.

What types of files do you want it to play?

Also I believe I  see you possible looking into another software for a credit system.
Downloads Pro has one built in that you can charge for with paypal and even the possible option of
"Use SMF Shop money as credits instead of download system credits"

Yeah which is why I was interested in seeing if it'd be possible to stream through this mod instead. I tried the other one and currently it's streaming doesn't even work lol. Sorry for taking so long to reply. Any of these: .MP3,.MP4,.M4A,.FLAC (lossless) .wav. If doing all of those would be too difficult, the basic ones would be .mp3 and .wav. I could just tell my members they'll have to convert if they want to upload.

Found this one that supports some of those http://mediaelementjs.com/ across many browsers.  looks like mp3 and mp4 at least.

HTML5 audio at least seems to support http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTML5_Audio#.3CAudio.3E_element_format_support
