Batch add folders
« on: March 21, 2015, 08:58:30 am »
Running 7.0.2.

I saw a reference from a couple of years ago that the batch add script can't auto-create folders.  I'm trying to migrate a large volume of images and folders (really from Menalto Gallery2, but also from an FTP folder.) and I thought I'd try following the previous instructions of creating a sub-folder and running the batch add from there.  I get the following on the page:

Multiupload failed to load. An issue occured....

First, how can I fix that, and second, is there a better way to do this?  Folder creation supported now?

"Multiupload failed to load. An issue occured...." normally occurs if you are on the bulk upload page. And if you have another javascript code that is confliciting with the page.

The batch add page you shouldn't see that. Since you are checking off the files to import. It does not support folder creation.

I'm not sure what other JS might be running.  It's a pretty basic forum aside from the gallery.  I've also noticed that there are two images under Start Upload that are broken.  What should those be going to?

If you have a link to your site I can tell right away for the js

The images are progress bar pointed at
gallery/fupload/assets/progress-bar/bar.gif

If you don't have those files download them from the gallery zip and upload that gallery folder to your fourm.

Your theme has it's own mootools javascript.
Code: [Select]
<script src="http://www.capitalareacobraclub.com/Themes/argentum_enhanced_smf20final/js/mootools13b_min.js" charset="ISO-8859-1"  type="text/javascript"></script><
You will need to attach your themes index.template.php for us to work on a workaround
