Aviary Image Effects vs Adobe Creative SDK
« on: April 19, 2016, 04:24:31 pm »
How would we get the Aviary Image Effects to work now that it is Adobe Creative SDK? I made a slight adjustment to point to the new feather.js in Gallery.php, according to Adobe, but it still doesn't save the effects. I assume there is more that needs to be done to the code since it's not even Aviary any more.

Maybe I'm not doing something else correctly when trying to save the effect. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure is it still free or do I have to pay for it? If I have to pay for it don't have access to it then. I kind of dropped it after adobe took over

It was free for me to apply for the application and client ID. It was kind of confusing. Since the feather.js link was a new link now, I thought after approval it would start working, nut no.  It shows up in my SMF Gallery Pro, but it doesn't have all the nifty options Aviary had. But neither of them worked. But I didn't get my SMF Pro until after Adobe took over and I realize now that this part of SMF Gallery Pro may be out dated.

To answer your question, it appears to still be free. Just not as nifty as Aviary was. A lot less effects.
