Members Can't create a Category to upload photos to

Your file looks ok. You should see personal gallery permission when edit a membergroups permissions.

yes i have that ticked

What is the same issues your users are having?
Do they have the MyGallery link?

yes there is a gallery link and they can make categories but when trying to add a photo they get this message

'you need to create a category before you can upload a photo'

this is the error its thowup up

strange thing is it seems to work ok if you use bulk upload

Under Admin -> Gallery Configuration -> Settings -> "Create a Default User Gallery Category"

Make sure setting is checked

Hmm it shouldn't ask that if they select a user gallery option when adding a picture.
