Remove 'Additional Options'
« on: March 19, 2018, 10:23:15 am »
As we don't allow comments would it be easy to remove the 'Additional Options' on the Add Picture page?

Do you just want to remove it from the template?
And how did you disable comments via permissions? or ?

I guess removing it from the template would achieve the desired effect, please advise.
Disabled was probably the wrong word, all membergroups are denied adding comments in the SMF permissions and also via the 'Category Permissions' in the gallery settings.

Remove this code in multiple spots in gallery2.template.php in your themes default.
Will check permissions in future versions for comments

Code: [Select]
<input type="checkbox" name="sendemail" checked="checked" /><b>' . $txt['gallery_notify_title'] .'</b>

Many thanks for your reply but as that code is not on it's own line in each spot it's a step too far for me. ???
I will leave it for now and hope a Mod or an easier option will be available in the future.
