error uninstalling contact page 3.2

I want to uninstall Contact Page 3.2 so I can install 4.0
When I try the uninstall I get:
Error in Package Installation
At least one error was encountered during a test installation of this package. It is strongly recommended that you do not continue with installation unless you know what you are doing, and have made a backup very recently. This error may be caused by a conflict between the package you're trying to install and another package you have already installed, an error in the package, a package which requires another package that you don't have installed yet, or a package designed for another version of SMF.

What do I need to do?

It depends on the error. Sometimes you can still uninstall via package manager.
But you also need to then remove the part of the code that failed to uninstall

That worked, thanks. The parser is a great tool.

4.0 is now installed but from  a previous post by Binkie I assumed 4.0 uses verification "how can I make it so 'everyone' using the Contact Page must use the 'verification'

But I do not see any verification or any settings for the mod. Whay am I missing?

Guests only require verification it pickups up whatever SMF is ussing.
