More regular expression match for search

Often I search in the Gallery and did not find the correct picture.

Sample Title : "Spätrömischer Militärgurtbeschlag 2. Hälfte 4. Jhr."

Searching for : "spätrömisch" - no results
Searching for : "militär" - no results
Searching for : "römisch" - no reulsts
Searching for : "spätrömischer" 1 match

I wish that the search will have a regular expression match and not only an exact match.

Are you using the full text search? Could be the non ascii characters which are causing the issue?
