Fewer clicks to a download?

Is there any way to have fewer clicks to a download? See this email I got from the boss when he looked at the way our customers can download documentation that we provide in a PDF file located in specific download areas visible only to those customers. In this case I changed it to ABC and XYZ for simplicity.

I just tested the ABC & XYZ accounts.  I'm curious.  Can we make the process easier?  It's 4 clicks to pay-dirt.

1.  Click the Downloads link
2.  Click the ABC link
3.  Click the ABC Guide link
4.  Click the ABC Guide.pdf link

Ideally 2 clicks.  3 is not unreasonable.  4 is one too many.

Yes you can reduce the clicks by going to admin -> download configuration -> Layout Settings -> Show Download Link

I don't seem to have a "Show Download Link" option available. Is that an option with the Pro version only?

We talked about us buying the Pro version but ended up paying to remove the copyright on the free version instead.

To followup for anyone researching this topic... purchased the Pro version and now there is a download button on the Category view, which reduces the clicks required for download from 4 to 3. Thanks!
