I thought I put that in 1.0.8, but maybe I forgot.

Hopefully I'll have the new version done soon. It has some improvements and fixes in it.  Keep a check on the demo site as I'll have a preview up soon.

Thanks.  I knew that it had to be improved and more functional for the next version because it looked rather boring. But it does have better functionality now and it certainly an improvement.  Hopefully I will be releasing very soon.

I was wondering if you could include a readme.txt file for those of us less technically inclined that would tell me how and where to upload this Blog program.

I have been running a phpBB2 board until a group of foreign hackers decided to hack it and put me out of business. I pretty much had that one figured out but SMF is new to me.

You upload all SMF mods to the packages directory in your SMF forum. Then goto the package manager in your admin section of your forum to install them.

Okay....this is what I did.

Downloaded the zip and unzipped to a folder I named SimpleBlog.

Uploaded the files therein to the packages directory.

Went there but Simpleblog wasn't visible.

Removed those files

Uploaded folder called SimpleBlog to package directory.

Went there but again SimpleBlog wasn't visible.

So..what am I doing wrong?

Do I need to chmod something to make it writable?

No don't unzip the files. You upload the zip file to the pacakage directory.

Here is an idea... What about taking your SimpleBlog mod and expand it to make a persons profile into a SMF Myspace. That would be awesome!!!
