Lost images

I've just lost a bunch of images from one of my gallery's https://bsac10c11c12.co.uk/smf/gallery/?cat=6
Any idea what might have caused it?

File deletions?
Did you restore from a backup? Did the host change anything?
See if this file exists in https://bsac10c11c12.co.uk/smf/gallery/3-030419133638-44931558.jpeg in any of the folders or sub folders if you have multifolder storage setup.


Worse case restore from a backup. Generally I recommend doing an offsite backup once a month to your home computer.

On investigation all of the dead links are the same date, 3rd April. The images were showing fine until a few days ago, but now there are no entries for that date in my gallery folder. If they were deleted from the gallery, the links would no longer be there, so they must have been deleted from my data folder. Strange as it wasn't me? This one is a real mystery, and one I will probably never know the answer to.
