This can result in the loss of

Step 1: Make sure that your Dyson vacuum is unplugged. After that, press on the release button that is located above the right wheel in the front of the vacuum. This will release the handle of the vacuum, which you should place gently on the ground.
Step 2: Locate the brush roll and the belt of the vacuum by turning it over. You should then see that there are 3 disc objects behind the brush. To remove these objects, first you need to have an appropriate screwdriver. If you do not have one, you can place something like a quarter into the slots of these discs. Then you need to turn them in a counter-clockwise direction to remove them, which will allow you access to the guard of the brush.
Step 3: Remove the brush guard above by lifting it up from the bottom of the vacuum and rotating in the direction toward the front. This should allow you to access the brush roll of the vacuum.

Step 5: Carefully remove the current belt of the vacuum by pulling it out from near the end of the vacuum. You should be able to see a shaft there. And then carefully insert the new replacement for that belt into the shaft.
Step 6: Put the brush roll back on top of the newly inserted belt. Make sure that everything fits and the slots of the brush roll are lined up with those of the belt.
Step 7: Make sure the U-shaped part of the brush roll face toward the body of the vacuum machine. Then remember to place the end caps into the slots on the sides of the vacuum.
Step 8: Now it is time to reattach the guard of the brush roll. Start by lining the brush guard tabs to the corresponding slots on the front bottom of the machine. Then gently lower the guard until it rests on the vacuum machine. After that, use a screwdriver or a quarter to rotate the slots in clockwise direction this time and lock the 3 discs into place.
The Dyson is now up and running, and ready to take on the new cleaning tasks.
